Elizabeth Cerrito is a second-year masters student studying Voice Performance at the University of Iowa. She is from Maryland, and she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Elon University in 2023 for Music Production and Recording Arts. In addition to voice, Elizabeth played violin for nine years and bass for four years. She is a classically trained soprano, and she has been in operas such as Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and Menefield’s Fierce. In her free time, Elizabeth can be found listening to the Eagles, baking, or hanging out with her cat, Julian!

Lauren Kundel, a native of Muscatine Iowa is thrilled to be joining the Marion Music Academy! Lauren is a spring 2023 graduate from the University of Iowa, receiving a Bachelor’s of Music in Voice Performance. She will return to Iowa in in the fall of 2023 to pursue a Master’s in Voice Performance. Miss Kundel loves teaching classical voice and musical theater/contemporary voice. As well as being a vocalist, she has been a bassist for over 10 years. Spending many years in both choir, orchestra, and jazz bands, Lauren has a well rounded approach to learning and teaching music.
